This site documents and archives the data collection and analysis completed through PennDOT’s Access the Keystone initiative from its launch in 2009 through Fall 2017. Subsequent efforts to improve access to Keystone Corridor stations are described on PennDOT’s consolidated Plan the Keystone website.The ACCESS THE KEYSTONE study is focusing on access to and from the stations along the eastern portion of the Amtrak Keystone Corridor between Philadelphia and Harrisburg. The purpose of the ACCESS THE KEYSTONE study is to assess and identify opportunities to integrate multi-modal access to and from the train Stations along the eastern section of the Amtrak Keystone Corridor. The goal of the ACCESS THE KEYSTONE study is to identify short and long term balanced opportunities for consideration as funding becomes available and planning/development progresses in the area. The ACCESS THE KEYSTONE study is being developed in concert with the PLAN THE KEYSTONE study to provide an overall regional assessment per station. |
